पात्रता
- Officers of the Central Government or State Governments or Union territory Administrations or autonomous body or statutory organisation or public sector undertakings or recognised university or recognised research institution:
- (i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
- (ii) With four years of service rendered after appointment to the post on regular basis in level-13 in the pay matrix (Rs. 123100-215900) or equivalent, in the parent cadre or department;
- Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience, namely:
- (i) Bachelor's degree from a recognised university or institute; and
- (ii) Fifteen years of experience in the field of telecommunications, industry, finance, accountancy, law, management or consumer affairs.

- (iii) With seventeen years of regular service in Group 'A; and have held a post in level-12 in the pay matrix (Rs. 78800-209200) or equivalent on regular basis for a period of not less than seven years.
- Preference shall be given to the candidates holding senior management positions.

Pay Level-14 Rs. 144200-218200 in Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC plus allowances such as DA, HRA etc. as per Govt. Rules.
