About the scheme
The Directorate General of Foreign Trade runs the Summer Internship Scheme to bring young scholars and researchers into contact with its officers. The scheme aims to exchange fresh academic ideas for better foreign trade policy analysis while giving interns practical exposure to policy formulation and implementation. Interns receive a token stipend, logistics support, and a certificate upon satisfactory completion.

- Pursued graduation from one of the following institutions - National Schools of Law; Central Universities; AICTE recognized Financial/Economics Institutions; Recognized National Management Institutes; Foreign Universities; Institutions of excellence.

- Permission Letter from the Supervisor / Head of Department, in case he/she is interested to join an internship during his/her coursework.
- Report/Paper (to be submitted to the Head of the concerned Division).
