About the scheme

The National Productivity Council (NPC), under the Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, runs the NPC Students Internship Program to give students pursuing graduation or post-graduation hands-on experience in areas such as Industrial Engineering, Environment Management, Energy Management, Agribusiness, Economic Services, Information Technology and Advanced Manufacturing & Industry 4.0. Interns receive workspace with internet, must bring their own laptop and arrange transport, and earn a certificate after submitting a project report; no stipend is provided.
