About the scheme
The Madhya Pradesh Mission Excellence Scholarship (MPMES) is a state‑level scheme run by the Department of Science & Technology, Madhya Pradesh. It aims to nurture meritorious science students by providing long‑term academic and financial support. The scholarship is disbursed twice a year, up to five continuous years, and includes a monthly stipend for school students and for those pursuing higher studies in science, engineering, medical, agriculture or veterinary fields. Additionally, a grant of ₹1,000 is awarded for participation in science Olympiads and related activities, subject to prior approval.
