About the scheme
The Internship Program at the Indian Patent Office aims to tap into India’s creative and innovative energies by offering students a hands‑on experience in intellectual property rights. It supports the National IPR Policy goals of spreading IPR awareness, stimulating IPR generation, and developing human capital in IPR teaching, training, research and skill building. Interns work at offices in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai or RGNIIPM Nagpur, receive a certificate after completion and are allowed three days of leave per month (excluding medical leave). No honorarium is paid.
