About the scheme

Administered by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), the FutureSkills Prime Incentive Program is designed to build a skilled digital workforce across key technology areas like Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, and IoT. The government reimburses a portion of the course fees and assessment charges directly to the candidate's bank account upon successful completion and certification. By subsidising training costs, the scheme encourages students and professionals to pursue industry-accredited digital certifications.

Benefits

• Deep Skilling (Paid): Maximum incentive up to 50% of the course fee paid, capped at ₹8,000 (inclusive of taxes).
• Deep Skilling Assessment Reimbursement: ₹600 for each successful certification, within the ₹8,000 threshold.
• Deep Skilling (Free Pathway): Incentive of ₹1,000 plus ₹600 assessment reimbursement, provided the learner enrols in a paid course costing ₹1,000 or more within 180 days.
• Bridge Courses: Incentive up to 50% of the course fee paid, capped at ₹3,000 (inclusive of taxes), along with ₹600 assessment reimbursement.
• Foundation Courses: Incentive up to 50% of the course fee paid, capped at ₹3,000 (inclusive of taxes), along with ₹600 assessment reimbursement.
• Maximum overall incentive across multiple course categories is capped at ₹12,000 per subscriber.
• Direct credit of the incentive into the applicant's bank account within 30 days of application submission.

Who can apply (eligibility)

• The applicant must be a citizen of India.
• Open to all Indian citizens regardless of their age, educational qualification, or income level.
• Applies to eligible paid courses offered on the FutureSkills Prime platform (free courses alone without paid enrolment are not eligible).
• Can be availed only once for each course and related assessment.
• For Deep Skilling Free Pathway, the learner must enrol in a subsequent paid course worth ₹1,000 or more within 180 days of certification.

Who cannot apply

• Free courses without progression to an eligible paid course cannot be claimed for incentive.
• The incentive cannot be availed more than once for the same course and assessment.
• Learners failing to enrol in a paid course within 180 days under the Deep Skilling Free Pathway forfeit their ₹1,000 ledger balance.

How to apply

1. 1Visit the official FutureSkills Prime website and sign up by entering your name, email address, and phone number.
2. 2Verify your account using the confirmation link sent to your registered email address and log in.
3. 3Browse the catalogue, select your desired technical course, and click on Enroll.
4. 4Complete the course payment and start learning on the platform.
5. 5Successfully complete the course modules and clear the related certification assessment.
6. 6Go to the Incentives tab on the portal and select the incentive you are eligible for based on your completed course.
7. 7Fill out the online incentive application form, upload your completion certificates along with bank and Aadhaar details, and submit.
8. 8After verification by the FutureSkills Prime team, receive the approved incentive amount in your bank account within 30 days.
