About the scheme
The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) runs an internship scheme to give students exposure to the working culture of the Government of India and familiarity with the schemes implemented by the department. Open to UG, PG and research scholars in selected disciplines, the scheme allows a flexible internship period of one to three months and provides a stipend of ₹10,000 per month after completion, along with an experience certificate.
