About RRB JE
RRB JE recruits Junior Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Information Technology and others), Depot Material Superintendents and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistants at Level 6 of the 7th Pay Commission.
RRB JE eligibility
- Junior Engineer: three-year diploma or B.E./B.Tech in the relevant branch of engineering.
- Depot Material Superintendent: diploma or degree in any engineering discipline.
- Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant: B.Sc. with Physics and Chemistry (minimum 45% marks).
- Age: as given in the CEN, with 5 years' relaxation for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (NCL).

How to apply for RRB JE
- Read the Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) on your regional RRB website or rrbapply.gov.in.
- Register once on rrbapply.gov.in with mobile number and email, then fill the application for the CEN.
- Choose ONE RRB (applying to more than one RRB for the same CEN gets all applications rejected) and give your post preferences.
- Upload a recent photo and signature in the size asked, pay the fee online and download the confirmation page.
