- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Gujarat Technical Examination Board or recognized university/institution or equivalent qualification recognized by Government
- Basic knowledge of computer application as per Gujarat Civil Services Classification (General) Rules, 1967
- Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both
- Age between 18 to 33 years as on 09/11/2026 with relaxations for reserved categories, women, ex-servicemen, and Divyang candidates as per rules
