About the scheme

Introduced by the Directorate General of Training under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, the Flexi-MoU Scheme follows an Employer Skills model where companies utilise their own infrastructure and staff to train candidates. The initiative bridges the divide between classroom learning and industrial demands by giving partners the freedom to tailor curricula, conduct practical assessments, and train candidates using modern technology. Enrolled trainees gain real-world shop floor experience and receive a formal e-National Trade Certificate, while participating enterprises build a trained workforce tailored to their operational requirements.
