About the scheme
The AICTE Swanath Scholarship Scheme is run by the Student Development Cell of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) under the Ministry of Education. Who can apply (eligibility)
- The applicant must be an orphan, OR a student whose either or both parents died due to Covid-19, OR a ward of Armed Forces and Central Paramilitary Forces martyred in action (Shaheed).
- Total annual family income from all sources must not exceed ₹8,00,000 during the financial year of application.
- Must be currently enrolled in an AICTE-approved institution and course at the Degree or Diploma level in regular mode (1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year).
- Must not be a recipient of any other scholarship funded by Central Government, State Government, or AICTE.
Who cannot apply
- Candidates who are already receiving any Central Government, State Government, or AICTE-sponsored scholarship are not eligible.
- Students pursuing courses through distance or part-time mode are not eligible.

How to apply

- 2Read the registration instructions, accept the undertaking, and click 'Continue'.
- 3Fill in mandatory registration details including domicile state, scholarship category, name, scheme type, date of birth, mobile number, and bank account information, then click 'Register'.
- 4Note the Application ID and password generated on screen and received via SMS on your registered mobile number.
- 5Go to 'Login to Apply', enter your Application ID and password, enter the captcha, verify using the OTP received on mobile, and create a new password.
