Who can apply (eligibility)

  • Applicant must be an Indian citizen, registered institution, industry, organisation, or startup registered in India
  • Entities established by the Central Government, State Governments, or Union Territories are eligible

  • The innovation must be an original product, process, or a substantial upgrade enhancing consumer utility, accuracy, reliability, safety, lifespan, or versatility
  • The submitted innovation must not be older than three years at the time of online application
  • Applicants must not have won an award in the immediate three preceding editions of the National Petrochemicals Awards
